Broadbent Smoked Pork Sausage
Grandma Broadbent began selling her Hickory Smoked Sausage over 110 years ago to her neighbors in Trigg County, Kentucky. We still use her "Secret Recipe" to produce our old-fashioned tasting sausage! We also have a "Hotter" Breakfast Sausage that has a zesty kick, and a NEW Father's Smoked Sausage with a rich, double smoked flavor. Our Country Pork Sausage still comes in old fashioned Cloth Bags.
Storage: This product is best kept frozen for up to 9 months. Can be refrigerated for 2-3 months.

We want your sausage to arrive looking just as good as it tastes! Because we’re heading into those warmer months, we take extra care with your order.
Do not be alarmed if your sausage arrives warm! Our sausage is dry cured and shipped frozen, and is expected to thaw out in transit. Extended time in transit at high temperatures can cause the fat to render (melt), which affects the texture and overall quality of the product.
To ensure your order arrives in peak condition, please note:

Expedited Shipping: During the summer, it is important to select expedited shipping if you are outside of a 2-day range for delivery. Please Note: we may limit shipping options for sausage to 3-Day or 2-Day delivery depending on your location and high temperatures.

Shipping Schedule: To avoid packages sitting in a hot warehouse over the weekend, we typically ship sausage orders Monday through Wednesday only. Location Dependent.

Cooler Packaging: We are working on insulated packaging options for the future. For now, Expedited Shipping is your best option during the hotter summer months!
Pro Tip: Please ensure someone is available to receive the package upon delivery so it doesn't sit out on a hot porch!
