Shipping Policies

Minimum 1-day processing time on all orders. Please note: processing times may be extended during the holiday season.

When will your package ship? We ship every Monday-Wednesday. Shipments may be held until the following Monday to be shipped. This allows packages to be on the move everyday in transit. This avoids the packages sitting in hot warehouses or trucks during the weekends. If your package can ship on a Tuesday or Wednesday and arrive before the weekend, it will ship. If not, it will be held until the following Monday. See the Time in Transit Map below.

All packages will be shipped via UPS to a physical address in the continental United States. UPS cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. Packages shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will be shipped through the United States Postal System and will need the appropriate address for that shipment method. For additional information for Alaska and Hawaii, please see "Broadbent Delivery Areas:" below.  APO's and DPO's will ship post office as well.  These rates will be figured and adjusted once the order is downloaded.

If a product is returned due to an incorrect address, we will promptly notify the customer to obtain correct information and the customer will be billed charges for re-shipping the package. UPS will sometimes correct an address or add an apartment or suite number. They will charge us $18.00 for doing this service, so double check to assure your shipping address is complete before ordering. The charge will be passed along to the customer if the address they have provided for us is not complete. Upon request, we will gladly provide you with a copy of this charge.

Delivery Areas

Broadbent's ships UPS Ground to the continental United States. You may request Next Day Air, Second Day Air or Three Day Select to guarantee arrival dates. Any items indicated as Perishable will automatically be shipped Second Day Air if the shipping address is outside our two-day shipping range. See Time in Transit Map below or Call for Details at 800-841-2202.

Alaska and Hawaii will be shipped through the U.S. Post Office unless you contact us to make other arrangements. If they ship UPS they will go Second day air, and be much more costly. Please call at 800-841-2202 to obtain rates and time frames for delivery.

Special Delivery Instructions

You may enter special delivery instructions on the special instructions line at the check-out portion of the order. These instructions could include the date you would like for the package to be delivered; which door to leave a package, should you be away from home when the package is delivered; or to leave the package only if someone is at home.

If you would like to ship the package to a different address other than where you are ordering from, simply enter that address in the Ship-to section of the order form. If you would like to send packages to several different people, simple place an order for each address you would like to ship-to.

Transit Shipping Time

The following is a map showing package Transit Shipping Time. This time equals the number of days it will take for your package to arrive after leaving our facility. (Example: If you are in a two range and your package ships on Monday, it should arrive to you on Wednesday.)

Standard Delivery Charges

Your shipping costs will be calculated during the check-out process, based on the shipping address of your order. Orders will be shipped via UPS, and customers can select expedited rates if desired.


NOTE: States with areas outside of a 3-day shipping range may see an additional fee of up to $3.00 due to extended time in transit. These states include AZ, CA, ID, ME, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA & WY.

Special Summer Shipping Charges

We want to ensure our products arrive to you in good condition. Items containing our Smoked Sausage may require expedited shipping charges during the hotter months of May-August.
