Another famous product from our historic water powered flour mill - the oldest commercial mill in Kentucky! Just add water, bake & enjoy.  (TWO-5.5oz bags).

Directions:

For Delicious Southern Spoonbread: Combine 1 and 1/3 cups of mix, 3/4 cup of water, and stir thoroughly. Add an additional 1 cup of water in 3 stages, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Pour batter into a 1 quart greased casserole dish, or you may use individual ramekins if desired. Bake in a pre-heated oven for about 30 minutes, at 450 degrees, or until golden brown. Serve directly from the baking dish with plenty of butter!

Ingredients: White Cornmeal, Cornstarch, Salt, Leavening, Powdered Eggs, Powdered Buttermilk, and Shortening.
